My Teaching Philosophy and Style

As a new teacher I'm still developing my style. But my philosophy for teacher middle schoolers is to treat them with respect. I remind them daily that I don't view them as children but as young men and women. I'm interested in their thoughts, ideas and feelings. I often tell them that part of me liking them is to want them to succeed. It's only human nature that we wish those we care about to be successful and it's no different with my students. That means I'm going to bug them and push them to be successful. But I'll do everything in my power to help them.
